Allen-Bradley 1785-KA3
The 1785-KA3 module is a communications adapter that links a PLC-2 family processor (including PLC2/30, -2/20, -2/17,-2/16, -2/15, -2/05, -2/02 and Mini-LC-2) to am Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus network. The 1785-Ka3 features extensive self-diagnostics. At power-up, the module tests its internal memory, timers, and firmware integrity. A failure causes indicators on the front panel to flash. The module continually checks the memory and the firmware during operation.
