Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC DH-485

Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC Link Coupler for SLC 500 Controller. Provides the connection for SLC processors and other DH-485 devices to the DH-485 network. The coupler provides a 6-position removable terminal block for connection to the DH-485 communication cable.

In Series A 1747-AIC, terminal 5 was called DATA B and terminal 4 was called DATA A. In this case, use terminal numbers only and ignore signal names DATA B and DATA A. The internal circuitry of the Series A is the same as Series B.

Network connections for the SLC 500 processor are provided by the Catalog Number 1747-C11, 304.8 mm (12 in.) cable supplied with the link coupler. Network connections for peripheral devices, such as the Personal Interface Converter (1747-PIC), Data Table Access Module (1747-DTAM-E), or Hand-Held Terminal (1747-PT1) are provided by the standard Catalog Number 1747-C10 1.8 m (6 ft) cable supplied with each of those devices.
