This unit handles processing of basic instructions 6 x faster than earlier modules.
Offers High Speed counters including high speed pulse ouput
Simple positioning operations at up to 10kHZ are possible thanks to availability of a pulse ouput instruction equipped with a speed acceleration/deceleration function.
Full range of communication functions:
Serial communication to printers, barcode readers and other RS-232C devices. Programming from a personal computer is also possible.
All the programming tools available for the FX series may be used interchangeably.

The FX2N is the ultimate Micro controller, the same size as FX0n but up to 256 I/O, 8000 program steps, and a processing time of 0.08m secs per basic instruction. The instruction set has been expanded to include specialist control instructions and the device has been increased to include 8000 data registers and more than 3000 auxiliary relays. Special function blocks offer positioning, analogue control, communications and networking while memory cassettes allow up to 16k steps of program code.
