This product provides a very flexible and powerful communication system which allows SY/MAX Programmable controller Family devices to communicate with each other. Control functions such as I/O status, I/O forcing, and register values can be altered over the network. All programs should be designed with the above in mind.

Each Network Interface (NIM) can support two devices. Up to 100 NIMS can be connected to single network, allowing up to 200 devices on one network. With SY/NET network, you can also link several networks together. Network linking provides network expansion and opens the door for distributed networks.
